چکیده

Interconnection Networks are a boon to human made large computing systems which often designed based on the need. In this paper, we address question of obtaining an interconnection network suit specific need is cumbersome procedure. The methods for constructing infinitely networks from any simple, undirected graph \(G\) illustrated and their properties discussed. Further, study behaviour certain vertex-degree invariants constructed under transformations by means operation obtain explicit relations energy some degree-based topological indices. Also, show that they can be computed in polynomial time these networks. By doing so, also new infinite families integral graphs.

Splice Graphs and their Vertex-Degree-Based Invariants

Let G_1 and G_2 be simple connected graphs with disjoint vertex sets V(G_1) and V(G_2), respectively. For given vertices a_1in V(G_1) and a_2in V(G_2), a splice of G_1 and G_2 by vertices a_1 and a_2 is defined by identifying the vertices a_1 and a_2 in the union of G_1 and G_2. In this paper, we present exact formulas for computing some vertex-degree-based graph invariants of splice of graphs.

On discriminativity of vertex-degree-based indices

A recently published paper [T. Došlić, this journal 3 (2012) 25-34] considers the Zagreb indices of benzenoid systems, and points out their low discriminativity. We show that analogous results hold for a variety of vertex-degree-based molecular structure descriptors that are being studied in contemporary mathematical chemistry. We also show that these results are straightforwardly obtained by u...

Inequalities between degree- and distance-based graph invariants

Inequalities provide a way to study topological indices relatively. There are two major classes of topological indices: degree-based and distance-based indices. In this paper we provide a relative study of these classes and derive inequalities between degree-based indices such as Randić connectivity, GA, ABC, and harmonic indices and distance-based indices such as eccentric connectivity, connec...

Minimum Feedback Vertex Sets in Shuffle-based Interconnection Networks

Given a graph G, the problem is to construct a smallest subset S of vertices whose deletion results in an acyclic subgraph. The set S is called a minimum feedback vertex set for G. Tight upper and lower bounds on the cardinality of minimum feedback vertex sets have been obtained for some hypercube–like networks, such as meshes, tori, butterflies, cube-connected cycles and hypercubes. In this pa...
